Miele Dishwasher Repair - Seal Leak and F70 Flood Error

We were recently called out to inspect a Miele dishwasher that had stopped working due to a flood error (F70). After a thorough check, we traced the issue to a leak around the seal of the heater on the circulation pump, an issue that rendered the appliance inoperable.
Normally, replacing the entire pump can be a costly fix. However, in this case, we were able to offer a more budget-friendly solution. Using a second-hand plastic heater assembly salvaged from a previous job, we fitted it to the existing motor, which was still in good condition.
This repair successfully stopped the leak and restored the machine to full working order, without the high cost of a new pump. It’s another example of how practical experience and resourceful service can save our customers both time and money.
